The XR Beat publishes independent reporting and analysis on enterprise AR, VR, mixed reality, smart glasses, immersive training, digital twins and deployment.
Luke Williams, XRB’s founder and editor, is responsible for the publication’s editorial decisions and corrections.
Sourcing and Verification
XRB checks factual claims against primary documents, company statements, direct interviews, regulatory records, contracts, product material and reliable public reporting wherever possible.
Articles distinguish confirmed facts from estimates, anonymous claims and informed analysis. Companies covered in material or disputed reports are given a fair opportunity to respond when time and circumstances allow.
Anonymous sources may be used when their information is relevant, their identity is known to the editor and disclosure could expose them to professional or personal risk. XRB seeks supporting documents or independent confirmation before relying on anonymous claims.
Independence and Sponsored Content
Independent editorial decisions are made by XRB’s editor. Companies cannot pay to secure favourable news coverage, suppress criticism or guarantee inclusion in an independent article.
Sponsored articles, paid partnerships and commercial campaigns are labelled clearly. A commercial relationship does not prevent XRB from reporting independently on the company involved.
Corrections and Updates
Factual errors are corrected promptly once verified. Material corrections should include a note explaining what changed. Minor spelling, grammar or formatting fixes may be made without a separate notice.
Articles may be updated when new evidence, company responses or later developments materially improve the report. The original publication date remains visible, alongside an updated date where the change is substantial.
Requests to remove accurate reporting are considered only when there is a compelling legal, safety or public-interest reason.
Conflicts and Disclosures
Relevant financial, personal or professional connections are disclosed when they could reasonably affect how readers assess an article.
